Skyscrappers

Novel
W.A.B. Publishing House

The house on the hill, inhabited by old furniture, paintings, and cats, has quiet ghosts sleeping in the corner
of the room. These include Grandmother Szelma, who never ran away with the circus, great-grandmother
Koza, and perpetually content Grandpa. There is Mother, who is painting the streets, and Father at war with
the foxes. There are windows with a view onto the abyss, and the glass of these reflects the lost lives of four
generations, each marred by similar scars. Only the talented Leo has a chance of fleeing the endless circle
of failure, so long as he is able to complete something. Perhaps he could, if it wasn’t for the curse of Fox
Hill, and if he wasn’t a sleepy, sad boy with dreamy eyes and a tendency of getting lost in fields of wheat.
